Baptist Perspective

Today we continue studying the Person and work of Christ in connection to salvation. We are continuing this discussion as introduced in the previous podcast regarding the redemptive work of Christ as it relates to the seed of Abraham regarding Genesis 15:6. Among the topics discussed are justification, faith, and the righteousness of God.

Today we continue studying the Person and work of Christ in connection to salvation. We are continuing this discussion as introduced in the previous podcast regarding the redemptive work of Christ. Today we are showing that the Seed of the woman and the Seed of Abraham is the same Seed of David promised by the Lord.

Today we begin looking more specifically at the work of Christ regarding salvation. We begin by reviewing somewhat the meaning of salvation and supply some thoughts illustrating that salvation is by the finished work of Christ and not centered on any action of man.

Our study for today continues to show that verses like John 3:16 and 20:30-31 are generally ignored in their true sense. Various renowned commentators avoid the correct interpretation of such verses and interpret them to fit their theology rather than bow to the truth of the Holy Scriptures. Salvation is by the work of Christ alone and it is not centered on the actions of man.

Our study for today shows other verses that declare without question that Christ actually redeemed, reconciled, made satisfaction, and sanctified those for whom He died. Christ saved; He did not simply make salvation possible.

Our study for today introduces the subject of justification. Not only is justification defined, but a brief overview of justification by faith, blood, Christ, and grace reveal that faith or man believing is not the means of justification.

Our study for today continues with the subject of justification. In this study we show how it is that sinful man is declared to be righteous before the holy God in his being represented in his Surety from all eternity.

Our study for today continues with the subject of justification. In this study we begin discussing the
ground of justification. Obviously, there must be a reason or a basis on which a person is justified.

Our study for today continues with the subject of justification. In this study we continue discussing the righteousness of God which is the ground of justification.

We continue studying the subject of justification in this podcast by concluding with the ground of justification which is the righteousness of God.
